Xiaomi is all set to launch the much-awaited Redmi Note 5 and Mi TV 4 at a launch event in New Delhi. We have seen several leaks and rumors over the last few days. Yesterday, few tech bloggers have leaked crucial information about the upcoming smartphones. According to the latest teaser, the company has taken a big plunge by introducing Mi TV 4 Smart Television in India.

Touted as Flipkart exclusive, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will feature a 5.99-inch FHD+ (1080×2160, 18:9) IPS bezel-less display, Snapdragon 636 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage, 16MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 4100mAh battery loaded with MIUI 9 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

If the rumors are to be believed, the Redmi Note 5 will be the first device from the company to ship with 18:9 display. Based on reports, the Redmi Note 5 will be priced aggressively with 64GB storage variant expected to sell below Rs. 12000. You can also expect the addition of a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

Meanwhile, the Mi TV 4 will offer a frameless design with Mi TV Bar paired with 10 powerful speakers, 2 wireless rear satellite speakers, and a subwoofer. The integration of Dolby Atmos technology with dual up-firing speakers will be the main attraction. Moreover, the television will be 30 percent thinner than the iPhone 7. The company claims that the Mi TV 4 will provide an immersive 3D sound experience.

The advantage of Mi TV 4 is that the unit can be upgraded easily. Moreover, the Lei Jun-owned company has embedded AI-based recommendations UI called PatchWall based on deep learning AI technology. The Mi TV 4 will ship with LG 4K display panel, Cortex-A53 processor, and Mali-T830 image processor.
