Nokia 7 Plus with Android One rumored to launch at MWC 2018

If rumors are to be believed, we can expect the launch of Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 1 at the upcoming MWC 2018. The main highlight of the upcoming Nokia 7 Plus is the integration of Android One. The images leaked via Weibo confirms that the phone will be pre-loaded with Android One.

According to Weibo reports, the Nokia 7 Plus will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. Moreover, the Nokia 7 Plus will be integrated with a full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The images posted on Weibo clearly shows that the device will be available in both White and Black color variants. On the back, we can clearly see the official logo of androidone along with other regulatory stuff. The rear side will have a dual Carl Zeiss lens camera placed vertically with LED Flash towards the middle. The fingerprint sensor is placed in the middle of the rear side.

The display shows the date as February 25, which indicates the actual launch of the handset. The screen also shows the time, but we are unable to ascertain if the time will be correct or wrong. There are absolutely no bezels on the left and right sides.

Meanwhile, the Nokia 1 will also ship with Android Go and will have 512MB and 1GB RAM. The display will be trimmed and the specifications will cater to the requirements of budget users. The speakers are placed on the rear side similar to that of the Nokia feature phones along with a single camera on both sides.

If HMD Global releases Nokia 7 Plus with Android One, then it will be the first smartphone from the Finland-based tech giant with the platform. Nokia has refreshed the Android One platform just like Xiaomi did in the Mi A1 device. HMD Global will unveil the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 1 at the upcoming MWC 2018 in Barcelona.
