BSNL has announced STV 99 and STV 219 plans with effect from February 20, 2018. The state-owned company has been introducing several new plans to compete with competitors.
As part of the STV 99 plan, you will be able to enjoy unlimited voice on both local and STD including any-net in Home LSA aka Local Service Area. You will be able to enjoy national roaming coupled with Personalized Ring Back Tone (PRBT). The validity of the STV 99 plan will be 26 days.
The STV 319 package brings in unlimited voice calls on both local and STB with any-net in home LSA. The plan also includes national roaming and provides a validity of 90 days. It is to be noted that the national roaming is not applicable in Delhi and Mumbai for both plans.

BSNL is struggling to cope up with the huge competition among other competing mobile service providers. The company hopes to review the system by launching trending and attractive packages. The new STV 99 and STV 210 plans will be available from February 20. We don’t have any information as to how long the new plans will be available for sale.
To recall, BSNL launched 4G services using 3G spectrum in Idukki, Kerala. Moreover, the company is gearing up to launch 4G mobile services in Arunachal Pradesh. We expect the company to roll out 4G mobile services across India by the end of 2018. It will be too late for the BSNL because Reliance Jio has already established a base in the 4G segment.
