With just a few days left for the MWC 2018, smartphone manufacturers are busy with their launches. LG has confirmed that the company would showcase LG V30 at the MWC 2018. According to reports, a new LG smartphone with the codename “Judy” will launch in June with interesting specifications. Based on rumors, the upcoming LG Judy handset will be equipped with a 6.1-inch display and Snapdragon 845 processor.
If you are waiting to experience the features of the LG Judy handset, you are wrong. The new device will launch only in June. Meanwhile, Evan Blass revealed that Judy will be called as LG G7. The upcoming smartphone will feature a 6.1-inch MLCD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and HDR10 support. The display will be capable of delivering 800nits brightness and will consume less than 35 percent power than standard displays.
The main attraction of LG Judy will be the addition of Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. Interestingly, the capacity of the RAM is less when competing manufacturers have been shipping devices with 6GB/8GB RAM.
The phone will bear dual 16MP sensors on the rear coupled with f/1.6 aperture lens. In a bd to compete with Samsung Galaxy Note 8, LG Judy will provide support for wireless charging and will be resistant to water via IP68. The device will also ship with boom sound stereo speakers alongside a dedicated voice assistant identical to that of the Bixby.
The LG G7 rumored to launch at MWC 2018 will also ship with a bezel-less display and up to 6GB RAM. The phone will be pre-loaded with Android Oreo. We expect that the phone will be available for the general public starting March 2018.
