Priyanka Anand Appointed Head of Human Resources for Ericsson in South East Asia, Oceania & India

In a significant development, Priyanka Anand has been appointed as Vice President and Head of Human Resources for Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) in Market Area South East Asia, Oceania and India (MOAI). Priyanka is responsible for leading the HR function across markets like India, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines and Bangladesh amongst others. According to company sources, Priyanka is having more than 19 years of experience in Human Resources and she had served more than 7 years at Ericsson.

As part of the new appointment, Priyanka will lead an HR team comprising of 60 resources spread across more than 10 countries. The team mainly drives HR strategy across several countries including collaborating with business leaders in the development and implementation of excellent HR practices. The end result will be to carve the knowledge from employees in a bid to achieve outstanding business results.

Commenting on the development, Nunzio Mirtillo, Head of MOAI at Ericsson disclosed that the company is knowledge-based with people being our core asset. The company will attract, develop and retain top talents to cross the targets.Priyanka is having the required skills using which she can make significant contributions to the growth of the company.

Priyanka Anand added that her main focus will be to enhance the company’s winning culture by developing and retaining world-class talent. Prior to becoming Head of Human Resources for Ericsson in South East Asia, Oceania & India, Priyanka was the Vice President and Head, HR Global Operations at Ericsson. She also served in Colt Technologies, Manpower and STG.
