The images of the upcoming HTC U12 has been leaked on Weibo (via targetyoutube.com) and it exposes colorful glass full-screen body. We can see the absence of bezels on both left and right sides. Moreover, the bezels on the top and bottom are minimal.
On the rear, we can see two dual camera sensors placed vertically with LED Flash. The fingerprint sensor is housed on the rear side below LED Flash. the traditional HTC logo is embedded in the middle of the rear side.
The rear side with four color variants has been leaked. As you can see from the above images, the date on the front screen is mentioned as May 16.
The above set of images are leaked via Weibo user He Zhe. Meanwhile, another user with the Weibo handle Science and technology leaked several images. Even though few images are same as above, the user has leaked few other interesting images. The user claims that the appearance of the handset is not very bright but not ugly. However, the price is beyond expectations.
We can visualize the bezel-less display of the HTC U12. The rumors indicate that the smartphone will be equipped with a 16MP front camera with support for auto-HDR.
According to leaks, the handset will ship in four color variants and the images clearly reveal not only the front but also the rear side of each color variant.
HTC is participating in the upcoming MWC 2018 and we can expect the announcement regarding HTC U12 during the event. There is a possibility that the company will showcase a prototype of the smartphone. HTC is well known to release expensive handsets and the upcoming HTC U12 will be expensive as per the initial reports.
