Meizu has officially confirmed that the upcoming Meizu X series will be integrated with Snapdragon 845 processor. Ard Boudeling, head of global marketing at Meizu took to Twitter and revealed the news.
Ard hasn’t given an estimated time frame for the arrival of the new smartphone but he only states that it will happen this year.

Interestingly, Meizu VP had revealed that Meizu X2 is a reality and will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor. The latest development gives a hint that the company is planning to launch several variants of the X series. Li Nan added that the smartphone is under development stage and will be launched in 2018.
Even though there are no clear indications about the exact launch date, the handset will hit the market by the end of 2018. According to reports, the handset will cost CNY 2999. It can be considered that Meizu X2 will be a flagship smartphone and not budget-centric. There are reports that the upcoming Meizu X2 will bear a secondary display on the rear.
