Sony has launched Sony RX0 action camera at Rs. 64990. The camera with trending technologies will be available for sale starting February 23. The Sont RX0 action camera is equipped with a 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor with support for up to ISO 12800. Moreover, the camera also provides a fixed wide-angle ZEISS Tessar T 24mm lens coupled with an f/4 aperture.
The main attraction of Sony RX0 action camera is the integration of Sony’s Anti-Distortion shutter feature. The lens will be capable of offering fast shutter time of 1/32,000 per second. You can also capture videos up to 16fps alongside slow motion videos at 960fps.
Like in the case of all other standard action cameras, the Sony RX0 is resistant to water and will be able to resist beneath the water of 10 meters for up to 60 minutes. The company sources revealed to that the camera is, in fact, capable of resisting under 100 meters of water because of the MPK-HSR1 housing.
Sony also revealed that the RX0 action camera will easily survive impacts of heavy drops to the ground surface from up to 6.5ft or 2m. Furthermore, the camera is crushproof with weight up to 200kg. In addition to the action camera, the product package also includes a control box, cage, and special water-proof casing to protect the camera inside water.
If you look at the action cameras manufactured by Chinese companies, they are shipped with a case which protects the camera from water. However, we have seen that such cases are very hard to operate and you will have to struggle a lot.
