Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has successfully passed Bluetooth certification, which indicates the imminent arrival of the wearable accessory. Touted as a successor to Mi Band 2, the upcoming Mi Band 3 will provide support for Bluetooth 4.2 BLE.

Roland Quandt, the popular leaker took to Twitter and revealed the information of the launch of Mi Band 3. He added that the device got the required certification from Bluetooth and also provided the link where you can view the complete declaration details.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 will be manufactured by Anhui Huami Information Technology Co. Ltd and will bear the model number XMSH05HM. If you look at the Xiaomi Mi Band 2, the device provided huge battery life at an affordable cost. Moreover, the gadget featured an OLED display coupled with an ability to work continuously for 20 days on a single charge. The captured data can be synced to your smartphone via MiFit app. However, the Mi Band 2 was plagued with inaccurate heart rate sensor. Hence, the Mi Band – HRX Edition was shipped without HR tracker.

We have HRX edition and the band works without heart rate. The advantage is that you will not have to bear the blinking light, which originates from the bottom. Moreover, the heat generated from the band has been substantially reduced.
