The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 will be manufactured by Anhui Huami Information Technology Co. Ltd and will bear the model number XMSH05HM. The product name is mentioned as Mi Band 3 / Mi and is being categorized under mobile phone accessory. The declaration ID is mentioned as D038915. The Mi Band 3 will ship with an improved heart rate sensor with an advanced algorithm.
If you look at the Xiaomi Mi Band 2, the device provided huge battery life at an affordable cost. Moreover, the gadget featured an OLED display coupled with an ability to work continuously for 20 days on a single charge. The captured data can be synced to your smartphone via MiFit app. However, the Mi Band 2 was plagued with inaccurate heart rate sensor. Hence, the Mi Band – HRX Edition was shipped without HR tracker.
We have HRX edition and the band works without heart rate. The advantage is that you will not have to bear the blinking light, which originates from the bottom. Moreover, the heat generated from the band has been substantially reduced.
We don’t have any estimated timeframe for the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Band 3. However, Xiaomi is participating in the upcoming MWC 2018. Hence, we expect the company to showcase the band. If you are attending MWC 1018, stop over by the booth to have a glimpse of all the Xiaomi products.
