HMD Global has released Nokia 8 Sirocco at the ongoing MWC 2018 in Barcelona. The Nokia 9 Sirocco is designed in an elegant and compact style with a perfect blend of accurate craftsmanship and purposeful innovation. In addition to an enhanced dual-sight, the Nokia 8 Sirocco features ZEISS optics coupled with an advanced Nokia spatial audio acoustic speaker system.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is equipped with a curved glass finish alongside a stainless-steel frame to deliver a fusion of strength and beauty. With a thickness of only 2mm, the Nokia 8 Sirocco features a 5.5-inch curved edge-to-edge POLED 2K display. The bezels are smaller and body curves are moulded to provide a compact look and feel.
According to HMD Global, the stainless steel frame included with the Nokia 8 Sirocco is 2.5 times stronger than 6000 series aluminium. The 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is capable of protecting the display from any adverse environmental conditions. The handset provides adequate grip because of the dual diamond-polished stainless steel frame.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco features dual rear camera sensors comprising of ZEISS optics. The wide-angle primary camera will capture stunning images even in low light conditions. The secondary 13MP camera provides 2x optical zoom. The device offers Pro Camera mode, which enables you to take control of the images and pictures. It is possible to capture images which looks like it has been shot using DSLR camera.
Expected to be available from April 2018, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is priced at EUR 749. HMD Global hasn’t yet revealed the expected availability of the phone in India.
