Toyota Kirloskar Motor has posted a sharp increase in the overall domestic sales in February. According to company sources, Toyota has reported a 3 percent increase in sales and has sold out 11864 units, when compared to 11543 units during the same period last year.
In a statement released to the press, the company disclosed that the company sold a total of 12705 units in February. In the domestic segment, the popular automobile manufacturer sold 11864 vehicles. Moreover, the company also exported 841 units of the Etios series.
The overall sales in addition to exports have increased to 4.88 percent in February 2018. Commenting on the development, N. Raja, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor disclosed that the company has been able to sustain the positive growth trend registering a 3 percent rise in domestic sales in February. Raja added that the year 2018 has started on a positive note with an overall growth of 11 percent in the first two months.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor is gearing up to launch the budget-centric sedan Yaris, which is a premium flagship. The vehicles were showcased at the Auto Expo. You can expect the launch of Fortuner, Innova Crysta and Corolla with improved operational efficiency to strengthen focus on the auto sector.
