Vodafone has launched new Prepaid Plans worth Rs. 549 and Rs. 799 in Mumbai, Haryana, Maharashtra, Goa, UP West circles and Rajasthan. With Rs. 549 and Rs. 799 plans, you will be able to enjoy 3.5GB and 4.5GB data per day respectively. Interestingly, both plans have a validity period of 28 days.
The catch is that Rs. 549 and Rs. 799 prepaid tariff plans don’t provide any SMS benefits in Mumbai and Rajasthan circles. However, in the remaining circles, the same plans provide a facility to deliver 100 SMS per day within the validity period.
You will be able to enjoy time limited voice calls on roaming with 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week respectively. It is possible to make calls to only 300 unique mobile numbers within the total validity time.
The main purpose of these plans is to compete with the likes of Reliance Jio’s Rs. 509 and Rs. 799 Prepaid plans. The advantage of Jio is that even the basic package yields 1.5GB of data per day, which is higher than any competing mobile service provider. You will be 4GB and 5GB of data per day for the above plans, which is sufficient to perform any task including Youtubing.
To recall, Vodafone has announced the launch of Voice over LTE (VoLTE) in Maharashtra and Goa with coverage extended to cities such as Pune, Vasai, Nashik, Goa, and Nagpur. As a customer, you will be able to enjoy uninterrupted services via data strong network.
