Reliance Jio is growing at a fast space in India. The company now provides services all over India. The latest development is that the Mukesh Ambani-owned company is topping up select customers with free 10GB of data as an add-on pack. We have received the free 10GB free data and the new is really true.
To check whether you have received the free 10GB data, navigate to My Plans section by selecting the three lines located on the top side. You will be able to view the free addon as shown below.
The main intention is to encourage the use of JioTV application. It seems that the company closely monitors the activities of customers and if a user is found using JioTV on a continuous basis, then the team will inject additional 10GB data. It was widely reported that the company is offering free additional data on the occasion of Holi.
If you had received additional 10GB data, you will not be able to make use of it on and after March 27, 2018. The availability of the free 10GB offering is part of an automated system and hence some users might not have the advantage to get it. The company will push the excess bandwidth only to few select customers who make use of JioTV. If you think you can get additional storage by calling customer care, then you are wrong. However, you can try your luck by dialing 1299, which is a toll-free number.
The catch is that you can make use of the free 10GB data only if you had crossed the daily limit of 1.5GB. For instance, if you had opted for Rs. 399 plan, you will enjoy 1.5GB limit. You have to consume the whole 1.5GB first and after that, you can use the free 10GB slot.
