Samsung is scheduled to launch the flagship Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones at a launch event in New Delhi at 11.30 AM IST. The launch assumes great significance since the company is launching the devices within one week of the official launch at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona instead of one month in the previous years.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is equipped with a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display, Exynos 9810 processor, 4GB RAM, Android 8.0 Oreo powered by a 3000mAh battery. with the help of the 12MP rear camera, you will be able to capture super slow motion videos at 960fps at HD resolution. The reason is attributed to the integration of a variable aperture lens comprising of f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture respectively.

As the name suggests, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ is a bigger model with 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display, 6GB RAM coupled with 3500mAh battery. on the rear, you will find dual cameras comprising of 12MP sensors with support for dual OIS. The dual variable aperture system infused with one 12MP camera offers aperture values of f/1.5 and f/2.4 respectively. The telephoto lens also offers a 12MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. You will be able to capture brilliance selfies with 8MP sensor alongside f/1.7 aperture.

The main highlight of the new Galaxy S9 series is the integration of a new AR Emoji functionality using which you can convert selfies into a customized emoji. It is possible to share them via SMS or any other third-party apps. According to DxOMark, the Galaxy S9 series offers enhanced camera performance similar to that of the iPhone X and Google Pixel 2.
