As part of International Women’s Day, Vodafone has added an innovative Emergency Alert feature with Vodafone Sakhi offer. The new addition will strengthen the Sakhi offer with an Emergency Alert feature, which allows users to send their current location to a maximum of 10 registered contacts in case of an emergency. Moreover, you can activate emergency alert dial by dialing *124*0# toll-free number.
Commenting on the development, Dilip Kumar Ganta – Business Head, Vodafone UP West Circle disclosed that the Sakhi offer has been launched one year back to help solve customer needs. With Emergency Alert feature, Vodafone Sakhi customers will be able to easily alert their selected contacts by simply giving a missed call.
Ganta added that the company wants women to make use of their mobile as a tool of empowerment & safety. The company is proud that nearly 4 lakh women consumers have been actively using the sakhi feature and the newly launched Emergency alert capability. The company is confident that the Industry First initiative of Emergency Alert will make our women folks more secure & confident.
