Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2018 variants of the Passion Pro and Passion XPro. The pricing is very competitive. While the Passion Pro is priced at Rs. 53189, the Passion XPro will cost Rs. 54189 in New Delhi. The pricing will change depending upon the state taxes and levies. The Passion pro will be available in five color variants, while the Passion XPro will ship in a sports red shade and dual tone color options.
The Passion Pro and Passion XPro features a semi-digital instrumentation with digital fuel gauge, auto headlamp on (AHO), digital fuel gauge including front disc brake options. The XPro model also ships with a LED tail lamps paired with dual-tone mirrors.
Responding to media, Ashok Bhasin, Head Sales & Customer Care, Hero MotoCorp disclosed that the company is a leader with over 50% market share in the domestic motorcycle market in India. The company is also number 1 in the 100-110cc segment with over 75% market share. Bhasin added that the passion 100cc is currently growing at a 20% and the latest launch will consolidate the leadership of the company in the domestic motorcycle market.
The Hero Passion Pro, Passion XPro vehicles bear a single-cylinder 110cc motor, which is capable of delivering 9.3bhp of power at 7500rpm and 9Nm of torque at 5500rpm. According to the company sources, the motor produces 12% enhanced power and torque when compared to the previous counterpart.
The vehicles have been integrated with hero’s idle-stop-start system, which enhances fuel consumption. The sprint time within the range of 0-60km/h will produce 7.45 seconds for both motorcycles.
