Xiaomi launched the much-awaited Redmi 5 at a budget-friendly cost starting at Rs. 7999. T0uted as a compact powerhouse, the Redmi 5 is capable of delivering one day of battery life even upon extreme usage. During the launch event, the company disclosed that the smartphone will be sold exclusively via Amazon India and the official Mi India site on March 20, 12 PM.

The main highlight of Redmi 5 is the integration of a 5.7-inch display with 18:9 full-screen display.
