Vodafone attracts Aircel customers with simplified port system and trusted network

Vodafone has announced that over one million Aircel users have successfully migrated to their mobile network. The Vodafone’s Network has been upgraded with required bandwidth and additional capacity to support increased demand. Moreover, the retail stores in Tamil Nadi will be opened seven days to provide the required service and also to facilitate port-ins.

In a statement to the press, Vodafone India welcomes Aircel customers to experience the world-class 4G network connectivity coupled with a choice of attractive tariff plans. The packages are designed in such a way to suit all customers. You can also opt for plans bundled with handsets with cash back.

If you are a customer of Aircel, you should generate MNP code by sending PORT < Current mobile Number> to 1900. You should submit the MVP code along with the Aadhaar number at the nearest Vodafone store or Vodafone retailer.

Commenting on the development, S. Murali, Business Head, Tamil Nadu Circle, Vodafone India disclosed that the company offers a wide range of value-added plans that cater to the different usage patterns, with best in class customer service experience. The company has refreshed the network facilities in Tamil Nadu, by adding a tower every hour. The efforts taken by the company has helped us to welcome Aircel customers.

Murali added that customers can just walk into 600 Vodafone stores and Mini stores across Tamil Nadu. These stores will be opened for the next seven days to help customers to transition from Aircel to Vodafone.
