Micromax has launched the much-awaited Micromax Bharat 5 Pro with a large battery. The main highlight of the Bharat 5 Pro is the integration of a massive 5000mAh battery, which is capable of delivering over 21 days of backup. Moreover, the smartphone also provides support for face unlock capability.
On the specifications front, the Micromax Bharat 5 Pro is equipped with a 5.2-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display, MediaTek processor, 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB expandable internal storage. With a brightness of 400 nits, the Bharat 5 Pro is capable of expanding up to 64GB storage via microSD card slot.
The rear side features a 13MP sensor with support for shallow depth-of-field, bokeh effect, panorama, time-lapse and beauty mode. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera offers a 5MP sensor with LED Flash and 83-degree wide angle lens alongside beauty mode to enhance images.
Commenting on the development, Shubhodip Pal, Chief Marketing and Chief Commercial Officer, Micromax Informatics disclosed that the Bharat range has been a huge success in India and the latest launch is an inspiration. Pal added that smartphones with huge battery life are costly but they have managed to keep the price to satisfy budget users.
The big attraction of Micromax Bharat 5 Pro is the addition of face unlock capability using which you can unlock the handset by simply scanning your face. The feature was introduced in iPhone X and is more secure when compared with the fingerprint recognition.
The addition of a 5000mAh battery is also a big bonus and is said to deliver two days of backup upon heavy usage with 21 days of standby time. moreover, the phone can also be used a power bank to charge other handsets and gadgets. Priced at Rs. 7999, the Micromax Bharat 5 Pro also provides support for 4G VoLTE along with other standard sensors.
