The connectivity and dimensions data of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) has been leaked on the US FCC. Within few days after the official launch of Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, the company is tightening its gears to launch the next-generation Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018). The news assumes importance with the dimensions of the upcoming device has surfaced on FCC.

With FCC ID A3LSMJ720F, the model number of the Galaxy J7(2018) has been mentioned as SM-J720F/DS and SM-J720F with FCC 47 CFR 2.1093 as applicable standards.

Talking about the SAR limits, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) yields peak spatial average of 1.6 for 1 g of tissue. The leaked document specifically mentions that SM-J720F/DS and SM-J720F are basically same but the difference is with the SIM card slot. While SM-J720F feature one SIM slot, the SM-J720F/DS ships with a dual SIM model.

The popular tech leak portal Slashleaks have exclusive access to three images leaked from the US FCC. The rest of the leaked snapshots reveals that the device includes a normal battery cover with a standard lithium-ion battery with a rating of 11.55Wh. With a thickness of 7.6mm, the Galaxy j7 (2018) offers a dimension of 162x140mm.

The connectivity features are also leaked with the specifications pertaining to GSM, W-CDMA (UMTS), LTE and Wi-Fi. The device will provide support for a wide range of Wi-Fi features such as 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n under 2.4GHz.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) was spotted on Geekbench pre-loaded with Android Oreo. We expect the forthcoming Galaxy J7 (2018) to ship with a FullDisplay screen with 18:9 aspect ratio just like the Galaxy S9 series.
