Meizu E3 to be available only in China [Confirmed]

Meizu has announced that the upcoming Meizu E3 will be available only in China. The same handset has been initially branded as M6E globally. Ard Boudeling (@ArdCB) who is the Head of Global Marketing at MEIZU took to Twitter and disclosed the development.

According to Boudeling, the main focus of the company is to bring the M6s to additional markets around the world. Hence, you can expect the launch of Meizu M6s in countries other than China but not the Meizu E3.

Meizu has announced the public availability of the Meizu E3 in China in Black, Champagne Gold, and Blue color variants. Although the handset is packed with rich features, the company has managed to keep the price to suit budget-friendly customers.

Talking about the specifications, the Meizu E3 is equipped with a 5.99-inch IPS (2160×1080) display, Snapdragon 636 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB expandable internal storage loaded with Flyme OS 7 on top of Android 7.1.2 Nougat.

the rear side carries dual camera sensors comprising of 12MP and 20MP sensors respectively. The primary camera sensor offers f/1.9 aperture with dual pixel autofocus, while the secondary sensor bears f/2.6 aperture with support for PDAF coupled with a dual-tone flash. The rear camera provides an ability to capture portrait mode with background blur with 2.5x zoom. ON the front, the Meizu E3 offers an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

designed with a metal body, the Meizu E3 also includes a fingerprint sensor capable of unlocking within 0.2 seconds. the phone is powered by a 3300mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging.

The Meizu E3 smartphone can be pre-ordered starting March 26 and the shipping will start on March 31. The 74Gb model will cost CNY 1799, while the 128Gb model will cost CNY 1999.
