Vodafone VoLTE launched in Uttar Pradesh West covering Meerut, Agra and others

Vodafone has announced the roll-out of its HD quality Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services in Uttar Pradesh West. The coverage includes cities such as Meerut, Agra, Dehradun, Bareilly, Saharanpur, Aligarh, Haldwani & Moradabad. According to sources, Vodafone is the first GSM service provider in the UP West circle to enable customers to make calls via VoLTE. The advantage of the new technology is that you will be able to enjoy HD quality crystal clear voice with super call connect.

Commenting on the launch, Dilip Kumar Ganta, Business Head – UP West, Vodafone India disclosed that the company has been making significant investments to not only expand but also to upgrade our network and to deploy new technologies. The intention of pumping the funds is to enhance the service experience.

Ganta added that Vodafone is the first GSM service provider to launch VoLTE services in UP West circle beginning with Meerut, Agra, Dehradun, Bareilly, Saharanpur, Aligarh, Haldwani & Moradabad. Moreover, the service will be extended to other cities within the next few months. Vodafone VoLTE is a big step to enhance customer experience and also to enable customers in UP West to explore newer possibilities with their smart mobile devices.

As part of the Vodafone VoLTE, the Vodafone SuperNet 4G customers will be able to enjoy world-class networks free of cost. Moreover, all calls will be billed as per existing plan or package benefits.

To enjoy Vodafone VoLTE, you require a smartphone with support for VoLTE. You can also navigate to vodafone.in/volte to verify whether your device provides support for VoLTE. It is also advisable to upgrade the Android version. IF you are using a Dual-SIM smartphone, you need to ensure that the Vodafone 4G SIM has been inserted in the data SIM slot/slot 1. Moreover, the network mode has been set as 4G/3G/2G (Auto).
