BSNL has commissioned the first 4G tower in Karnataka under the presence of Manoj Sinha, who is the Minister of state holding independent charge of communications. The event was held at Ambedkar Bhawan, Shivamogga. Sinha disclosed that projects worth Rs 1600 crore were implemented since the last three years in Karnataka.
BSNL also introduced family broadband plan named BBG Combo ULF 1199 Family, which provides you three free mobile connections, unlimited calls, and data to any network within India. moreover, customers can enjoy free PRBT (personalized ringback tone) on all the three SIm cards including provision for free online TV on one SIM.
BSNL has upgraded Rs 399 and Rs 799 Postpaid plans with free outgoing roaming. If you subscribe to these plans, you will be able to avail free outgoing roaming without a daily or monthly FUPs. The main highlight of the Rs 799 postpaid plan is that the state-owned company is providing unlimited calling to landline numbers.
In addition to voice-calling benefits, BSNL is also offering excellent data packages for both Rs 399 and Rs 799 Postpaid plans. While the Rs 399 plan offers 30GB data, the Rs 799 package provides 60GB data without any monthly or daily FUP.
You can browse as long as you desire until you reach the specified limit. Interestingly, BSNL is not offering any SMS benefits for these two plans unlike other providers such as Reliance Jio who offers 100 free SMS. That said, you will get free 250 SMS if you opt for Rs 1125 plan.
BSNL also conducted a social media workshop for employees in Raigad. Moreover, the company also installed 17 access points across udvada village to enable people to communicate effectively. BSNL is taking no stones unturned by introducing a wide range of plans to compete with private mobile service operators.
