OPPO is scheduled to unveil the next-generation OPPO F7 smartphone in India at 12.30PM on March 26. The event will be live streamed on various social media platforms. The launch assumes great importance since its competitor vivo has launched vivo V9 last week with premium specifications. The main highlight of the OPPO F7 is the integration of an iPhone X-notch on the top side of the front portion. Moreover, the display will be completely bezel-less with 19:9 aspect ratio. The notch display is expected because it is visible of the renders and teasers posted on Facebook and Twitter.
The OPPO F7 will be equipped with a 6.2-inch FHD+ (2280×1080) display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 89.09 percent screen-to-ratio. Under the hood, the OPPO F7 features a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, Mali-G72MP3 graphics, 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB expandable internal storage.
While the rear side will bear a 16MP camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture, the front-facing camera will offer a 25MP sensor. The handset will provide support for 4K video recording and dual-tone LED flash including AI selfie, AI Beauty Technology 2.0 in addition to HDR modes. The selfie camera will also provide support for features such as cover shot and AR stickers.
Expected to be pre-loaded with ColorOS 5.0, the OPPO F7 also provides support for facial unlock and screen recording. You can also make use of gestures and split-screen multitasking.
In addition to fingerprint sensor on the rear, the OPPO F7 will also include all standard sensors including 4G VoLTE support. The 3400mAh battery integrated with the handset is capable of delivering up to 15 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Talking about the price, the upcoming smartphone will cost nearly Rs. 22990, which is similar to that of the Vivo v9. We will know the actual pricing soon after the launch. That being said, you should accept the facts only with a pinch of salt since there is no official confirmation.
