Bajaj Auto has increased the cost of the 2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 by Rs 2000 for all the variants. While the non-ABS version will cost Rs 144,113, the dual-channel ABS variant is priced at Rs 158,275. Previously, the price of non-ABS was 142,190. Hence, the price has been increased to Rs 2004. Talking about the dual-channel ABS, the price increase is around Rs 2005 since the previous price was Rs 158275.
The 2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 bike features gold-finished wheels could with new color variants. the bike also offers a 373.3 cc single cylinder mill alongside liquid cooling.
The fuel injection of the Bajaj Dominar 400 is pegged at 35ps @ 8000 rpm. Moreover, the bike is capable of delivering 35Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The bike includes a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch.
Touted to be the affordable bike, the 2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 will compete with the likes of Royal Enfield Thunderbird and UM Renegade. Even though Bajaj launched the Dominar 400 two months back, the company had revealed that the prices will be changed.
The current increase in the price is a big setback for customers who would like to experience the trending bikes. However, if the dealer provides few discounts and freebies, the price increase can be easily offset.
