Airtel has established a strategic partnership with ALTBalaji to integrate trending digital content to the Airtel TV app. As part of the partnership, you will be able to experience a wide range of original shows and movies produced by ALTBalaji on the Airtel TV app. As of this writing, there are over 350 Live TV channels and more than 10,000 movies and shows on Airtel TV app.
The introduction of ALTBalaji is in continuation to the current partnerships with Hotstar, Eros Now, Hooq, and Sony Liv. If you are a customer of Airtel TV, you will be able to watch the content for free until June 2018 as part of a promotional offer. the partnership with ALTBalaji is due to the acute competition from reliance JioTV.
Commenting on the development, Sameer Batra, CEO, Wynk disclosed that they are excited to partner with ALTBalaji to provide rich digital content on the Airtel TV app. Batra added that the company is focused to offer several trending entertainment content, which the users can enjoy on the go.
Reliance Jio 4G customers will be able to experience a wide range of content including live channels from within their app for a price they can easily afford. You will be able to access a wide range of shows from ALTBalaji such as Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat and Haq, including Bollywood hits like Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Lootera. If you are an Airtel Postpaid and Prepaid customer with an active account till June 2018, you will be able to access all content on Airtel TV app.
