BSNL makes massive gains with 4 million customers in March 2018

BSNL has disclosed that the company has added over 4 million customers in March. The state-owned telecom company revealed that the gross subscriber addition has entered into a new phase with the addition of more than 4 million new customers in the month of March alone.

The huge growth of customers was on the expected lines because the majority of customers from the erstwhile Aircel have already migrated to BSNL through Mobile Number portability aka MNP. According to official sources, BSNL managed to add 1.2 million subscribers via MNP during the month of March.

The main reason for the success of BSNL is attributed to the launch of new attractive schemes, plans, offers including value-added services. The company also improved the network and also introduced 4G connectivity in select regions. The ability to attract subscribers via MNP turned out to be a huge success because of low priced plans in both prepaid and postpaid mode.

Responding to media queries, BSNL Director RK Mittal added that the company has drated big plans to boost and maximize the mobile network connectivity. The main focus is on improving customer satisfaction.
