The upcoming 2018 Mahindra XUV500 will ship with an enhanced version of the diesel engine and the specifications have been leaked out in the wild.
The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 will be capable of producing 155hp and 360Nm of torque via the integrated 2.2L mHawk diesel engine. If you compare the specifications with the existing model, they are higher and improved. You can expect better performance on the road.
In addition to changes on the front, you can also expect new additions on the rear side. The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 will be equipped with a new six-slot radiator grille coupled with tweaked headlamps and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The leaked images reveal the registration plate with the number on the front and a blank plate on the rear. While the front headlamps are not activated, the lights on the rear are activated with a person removing the outer cover. The vehicle has been spotted on the Mahindra’s authorized service center.
The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 will most likely be available on all dealers by the end of April at around Rs 13 lakh, which should be the New Delhi price.
The vehicle will bear triangular tail lamps paired with a refreshed tailgate. Moreover, you will also find a wider license plate recess. The company will use silver trim on the interior and a newly designed leather and leatherette upholstery.
