Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini has been spotted on Geekbench with interesting specifications. According to benchmarking results, the Galaxy S9 Mini will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor. The reports suggest the fact that the Galaxy S9 mini will be a trimmed version of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S9 series.
With model number SM-G8750, the Galaxy S9 Mini will bear mid-level specifications and will be launched soon. The Geekbench results reveal the motherboard number as sdm660 with Android 8.0.0 Oreo platform.
Even though the ram capacity will be 4GB, the benchmarking data reveals the presence of 3733MB, which is normal. We expect the integration of Android 8.1 although the data hints at the Android 8.0 Oreo.
While the single-core score measures 1619, the multi-core score grabs a value of 5955, which is significantly higher. We don’t have any information regarding the other features and specifications but we hope the company will add Samsung Bixby digital assistant support.
Samsung is planning to target budget users by providing all the required features included with the full-blown Galaxy S9 series. This includes bezel-less infinity display coupled with an Iris scanner. The handset will most likely ship with a 5-inch bezel-less display with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage variants. We will continue to monitor the developments related to the Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini and keep you updated.
