Vodafone has announced the launch of the Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services in Uttar Pradesh covering cities such as Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Faizabad in addition to around 26000 towns and villages in the circle. With VoLTE, you will be able to make calls using VoLTE and enjoy HD quality crystal clear voice with super call connect.
The company revealed that they have invested Rs. 11400 crore for the upgradation of mobile towers and infrastructure. The VoLTE has been launched in over 7222 sites with 16 site per day. You will be able to access Vodafone VoLTE without any additional charges and will be billed as per existing plan or package benefits. Commenting on the launch, Nipun Sharma, Business Head – UP East, Vodafone India disclosed that the company has been making significant investments to expand, upgrade and modernize network. The aim is to provide the best possible service experience and seamless connectivity to our valued customers.
Sharma added that Vodafone is currently providing VoLTE services in UP East across 26000+ towns and villages. He said that the launch of VoLTE is a step further towards the enhancement of customer experience and also to enable customers in the UP to explore new possibilities with smart devices.

To enjoy VoLTE, you need to have access to a smartphone with Vodafone 4G SIM. If you are using dual-SIM and set, you need to insert the SIM in the data SIM slot/slot 1 and network mode has been set as “4G/3G/2G (Auto)”.
To recall, Vodafone VoLTE service was recently launched in Maharashtra and Goa, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Karnataka, UP west. The company revealed that the service will be extended all over India in a phased manner over the next few months.
