BSNL has announced a limited time IPL pack exclusively for the prepaid mobile customers. The new IPL pack will be available for purchase from April 7 to April 30 and will carry a validity of 51 days. As a customer, you need to pay Rs. 248 upon recharging to enjoy 153GB of data with a FUP limit of 3GB per day.

BSNL also launched Rs 118 prepaid pack with 28 days validity, which offers 1GB of data coupled with unlimited voice calls. The Rs 379 plan provides 4GB of data per day with unlimited calls within the BSNL network with a limitation of 30 minutes per day for a period of one month.

Recently, BSNL also announced that customers can subscribe to new plans from within their social media profiles. You just need to navigate to the social media handles (Twitter/Facebook) and post the message by properly using the relevant hashtags. The BSNL staff will be in touch with you with further instructions. This is an attempt by the Government-backed company to attract tech-savvy customers.

The Rs. 551 prepaid pack offers 1.5GB of data with 80Kbps speed after the FUP limit. The Rs. 666 plan also offers the same benefits with a validity of 60 days. If you would like to have a validity of 90 days, you can opt for Rs. 485 prepaid pack with 1GB data limit and 100 SMS messages per day. In addition to the above plans, BSNL also launched Rs. 399 and Rs. 799 postpaid packages.

The launch of new BSNL IPL pack assumes great significance since Reliance Jio also announced Rs. 251 pack with 102GB of data with 51 days validity. Reliance also launched a separate channel to broadcast IPL related content and can be activated from within the MyJio app. You will be able to play games and watch comedy shows apart from exclusive shows during the matches. The company has roped in former pacer Kapil Dev and other personalities to engage with users.
