Vodafone India has celebrated the 70th World Health Day by setting up basic healthcare examination facility at selected Vodafone stores exclusively for customers of Jaipur. According to reports, over 200+ customers across Jaipur underwent basic medical tests related to Blood, Cardiac and Liver Health as part of the World Health Day.
As part of the initiative, Vodafone has hired city-based healthcare app MeraPatient in a bid to digitally empower customers. The camp will continue on April 9 as well at select Vodafone stores located at Gaurav Tower, Raja Park, Chaura Rasta, Ajmer Road, Vidhyadhar Nagar and Tonk Road.
Commenting on the development, Amit Bedi, Business Head – Rajasthan, Vodafone India disclosed that the company follows best practices to delight its customers and care for health, safety and well-being of all stakeholders.
The company has taken digital transformation initiatives one step further by establishing a partnership with Jaipur Based MeraPatient App, which enables patients to access their medical reports via the app.
Bedi added that the initiative will contribute towards Happy to help philosophy for the 2018 Digital Customer. The aim of the medical tests is to enable customers to evaluate their overall health levels. the team will suggest remedial lifestyle modifications to be undertaken after evaluating the reports and also to address certain concerns.
The main purpose of the healthcare camp organized as part of the World Health Day is to support the theme of Universal health for all by associating with the City-based MeraPatient app. Founded by Manish Mehta, the app serves as an aggregator platform for chemists and diagnostics centres.
You will be able to get best prices for all the medicines after uploading the prescription. The MeraPatient app also includes a Panic Button, which is used to overcome panic situation during Emergency by sending the required alerts.
