Indian Motorcycle has announced the launch of the first touch point named Indian Motorcycle Riders Stop (IMRS) in North East India in Guwahati, Assam. The opening of the first touch point is seen as a big push towards the growth of North East as claimed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Indian Motorcycle Riders Stop can be located at Precision Powersports, Hatigaon Road. The facility, which is the first sub-dealership in North East provides test rides, after sales support including the ability to accept bookings. Moreover, the touch point also sells accessories and apparel exclusive to Indian Motorcycle.
Apart from the newly launched touch point, the Indian Motorcycle has 10 dealers across India. The main aim of the Indian Motorcycle Riders Stop is not only to enhance their presence but also to boost the development of North East. The company sources revealed that they are planning to open several touch points across India before the end of 2018.
In a bid to boost sales, the Indian Motorcycle had slashed the prices of its vehicles by Rs 3 Lakhs because of the reduction in the duties on CBU motorcycles to 50 percent from 75 percent.
