Intex has launched Intex UDAY smartphone with 3GB RAM in Black, Blue, and Champagne color variants. Priced at Rs 7499, the Intex UDAY smartphone has been equipped with a 5.2-inch HD display and 3GB RAM, which is sufficient for performing ordinary tasks.
Under the hood, the Intex UDAY smartphone offers a 5.2-inch HD display, MediaTek processor running at 1.3GHZ, 3GB RAM coupled with 128GB expandable internal storage. The smartphone is powered by a 2800mAh battery and is pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat.
Commenting on the launch, Nidhi Markanday, Director, Intex Technologies disclosed that the main aim of the company is to strengthen hold in key regional markets. The company is excited to establish a partnership with four leading mobile shops in Pune to sell the smartphone. The smartphone will be a game changer in its quest to establish consumer connectivity in Tier 2 and 3 markets.
While the rear side features a 13MP camera sensor with support for LED flashlight, the front-facing camera offers a 5MP sensor. The rear camera provides support for autofocus and the LED flash is included with the selfie camera as well. Like in all other smartphones, the fingerprint sensor is embedded on the rear side.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Intex UDAY smartphone provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, micro-USB, microSD card slot including a traditional headphone port. The Intex UDAY smartphone will be available only in the offline mode in Pune via Kensha Mobiles, Mehta Telecom, Manik Mobile Shopee and The Corner Mobile.
