Nagaland Agriculture Department Launches NagaFarmDoctor Android App For Farmers

Nagaland government has announced the launch of an exclusive Android mobile app named NagaFarmDoctor for farmers. Agriculture Minister G. Kaito Aye has officially launched the NagaFarmDoctor app at a launch event held in Nagaland.

With the help of the interactive mobile app, you will be able to solve problems and also seek answers to common issues related to farming. Moreover, you will be able to know about the various diseases of plants including the steps to prevent them.

The NagaFarmDoctor app includes two features. The interactive module can be used to submit queries by the farmers. The second module provides information about diseases of plants. The app also provides an ability for the farmers to interact with each other identical to that of WhatsApp.

The minister advised officials to interact with people in remote villages to expose the benefits of the newly launched app. The main purpose of the new NagaFarmDoctor app is to enable farmers to achieve self-sufficiency.

We downloaded the app but the app got struck after generation of the OTA. The Please wait… progress bar appears on the screen and we are unable to work with the app. We expect that the app will work well after a few hours. However, we attempted to generate the OTP again and were able to log in without any problem. You will be able to submit questions from the home screen. You can also view a list of all diseases affecting the plant in the form of pictures.
