According to sources, LG had applied for a trademark for the LG Q7 model at the Korean Intellectual Property Office. The latest development is the emergence of a new certificate for LG Q7 and LG G7 smartphones in Russia.
As per a report published on letsgodigital, the smartphones with model numbers LG LM-Q710ZAW, Q710ZMW and the LG LM-G710V has been approved by the Russian inspection agency Eurasian Economic Commission aka EEC. Interestingly, the upcoming smartphones will be loaded with Android 8.1.0 Oreo operating platform. The main highlight between the two smartphones is with regard to the amount of RAM.
Upon inspection of the certificate, we can infer that LG G7 is labeled as a sample phone, while LG Q7 is mentioned as a real smartphone. The LG Q7 AW mentions the validity date of March 28, 2023, with identifier 001000011000 and notification number RU0000036825.
Meanwhile, the LG Q7 MW or the Mini version will most likely ship with a Snapdragon 660 processor with an upgraded camera. The reports suggest that the handset will carry a single camera instead of dual rear cameras. The notification number is simply mentioned as RU0000036824 and will be loaded with the same Android 8.1.0 Oreo operating platform.
Based on the available reports, the LG G7 ThinQ will launch on May 2, 2018, with a 6-inch display. The device will have a notch on the top identical to that of the iPhone X. You can expect dual camera sensors on the rear. The notification number has changed to RU0000036835 and will ship with Android 8.1.0 Oreo platform.
