Mahindra & Mahindra has officially launched 2018 Mahindra XUV500 Facelift for a price of Rs 12.39 lakh in seven color variants. Tagged as a premium SUV, the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 Facelift includes bold new design coupled with plush and luxurious interiors. The vehicle also offers high power and torque in addition to improved suspension and a silent cabin.
The design has been refreshed with a new wider grille with chrome inserts. The fog lamps are enclosed in a new chrome bezel. The vehicle also includes a new tailgate with spit tail-lamps coupled with a spoiler. You will also find LED DRLs and a large 45.72cm (235/60 R18) diamond-cut alloys.
Powered by a mHawk engine, the 2.2L powerplant integrated with the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 Facelift is capable of delivering an output of 113kW @ 3750rpm in diesel and 103kW @ 4500rpm in petrol variant. Talking about the torque, the SUV yields 360Nm @ 1750-2800rpm and 320Nm @ 2000-3000rpm in the in the diesel and petrol variants respectively.
The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 Facelift is available in 5 diesel variants such as W5, W7, W9, W11 & W11 OPT. The vehicle also offers a larger 45.72cm Alloy wheels paired with one petrol variant as an optional feature.
On the interior, the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 Facelift SUV ships with a premium new tan paired with a black theme. The theme includes new quilted tan leather seats with a soft-touch leather dashboard. The SUV vehicle also includes door trims and a new piano-black center console including 6 airbags and anti-lock braking system.
The addition of electronic brake force distribution and stability control with rollover mitigation is a huge bonus. If you are on hill ride, you can manage the parameters with hill hold and hill descent control alongside disc brakes on all wheels. You will also find emergency calling feature using which you can dial persons in case of any emergency.
