Cubot Power launch imminent with Helio P23 and 6000mAh battery

Cubot, a Chinese-based smartphone manufacturer is gearing up to release a wide range of smartphone at the upcoming Asian Electronics Show in Hong Kong. The latest development is that the company is also planning to unveil Cubot Power, which will ship with the powerful Helio P23 processor, 6GB RAM, and a massive 6000mAh battery.

In addition to Cubot Power, the company will also launch the Cubot X18 Plus, Cubot P20, and Cubot Nova. The P20 will be equipped with a notch display and the Nova model will be a budget-friendly smartphone.

The main highlight of the Cubot Power is the addition of Helio P23 processor with a base frequency of 2.5GHz. The chipset will be manufactured based on the 16nm process, which ensures low power consumption. Moreover, the device will offer 128GB expandable internal storage paired with 6GB RAM with the ability to provide support for dual SIM and dual 4G networks.

Like in the case of the Samsung Galaxy S9 series, the Cubot Power features a 5.99-inch Full Screen FHD+ display coupled with a 20MP rear camera with 6-pieces lens. According to the company, the new camera system provides enhanced clarity when compared with the dual camera mechanism.

According to sources, the addition of a 6000mAh battery is big among all the competing bezel-less smartphones. The phone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo to provide users with pure Android experience. Interestingly, the phone doesn’t ship with any third-party apps. The release date of the Cubot Power will be around may and we will know the price around that time.
