Harman has launched the JBL Free earphones in India at Rs. 9999. The main highlight of the JBL Free is the addition of an improved battery, which is capable of delivering backup of over one day on a single charge. According to the company sources, the JBL Free is exclusively designed to deliver wire-free calls paired with music playback.
Commenting on the development, Sumit Chauhan, Vice President – Lifestyle Audio, Harman India disclosed that the Free will set new benchmarks in the audio industry with the addition of superior sound quality, versatility and sleek looks. The wireless feature helps you to experience stunning music on the go without any disturbances. Chauhan added that the newly launched earphones will enhance the living style alongside premium audio.
The JBL Free is equipped with a 5.6mm drivers with a frequency response between 10Hz and 22KHz. The earphones provide support for JBL Signature Sound technology, which provides intuitive, intelligent sound experience. Moreover, the smart charging case bundled with the product package provides 20 hours power capacity upon just 15-minute charging via QC 3.0 technology.
Inside the package, you will find three and dual ear-tip and silicone sleeve sizes respectively. It is also possible to change them with nine different size combinations. Like in the case of all other competing earphones, the Free earphone is water-resistant via IPX5. In addition to Bluetooth, the JBL Free includes support for A2DP v1.3, AVRCP v1.6, HFP v1.6, and HSP v1.2.
