Opera Touch with improved capabilities launched

Opera has launched a new mobile browser named Opera Touch including a refreshed browser for desktops. According to company sources, the touch browser for mobile has been designed from scratch. Moreover, it is capable of establishing connectivity with Opera PC Browser without using any credentials. The big advantage of the Opera Touch is that you can use the navigation tools with one hand, which helps you to browse the web easily.

The main attraction of Opera Touch is the addition of Flow, which enables you to send files, notes, and links to your PC. Even though Flow is encrypted, you can sync files and contents without providing user credentials. The PC version includes an instant search capability using which you can search for content using ALT+Space shortcut key.

Commenting on the development, Maciej Kocemba, product manager at Opera disclosed that the Opera Touch browser starts in search mode to enable you to browse the web instantly. The keyboard will be activated and the address bar cursor will blink automatically. The users will be able to work with the browser instantly without any learning curve.

The integration of a Fast Action Button (FAB) provides direct access to common tabs alongside a search feature. It is also possible to navigate through the browser using the thumb. The Opera touch also provides support for voice search, QR, and barcodes. Opera Touch is currently available for Android and is expected to hit iOS stores soon.
