Apple iPhone SE 2 leaked video reveals glass back and headphone port

If rumors are to be believed, Apple is gearing up to release the next-generation Apple iPhone SE 2 within the next few days. The phone was reportedly spotted on Chinese site miaopai.com in the form of a video. The first impression upon inspection of the video is that it looks similar to that of the Apple iPhone SE. However, there are key differences.

Based on the leaked video, the upcoming Apple iPhone SE 2 will most likely ship with a glass back with support for wireless charging. The interesting point to note is that the leaked video shows the presence of a 3.5mm headphone port.

The video runs only for 16 seconds and it showcases all parts of the forthcoming smartphone. We can see charging port, speaker grill,s headphone port including the rear side with Apple logo. The display is not bezel-less and it includes a rounded physical home button.

If you look at the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 series, the devices weren’t shipped with a headphone port. The addition of the port will help users to enjoy music via wired earphones instead of adopting wireless earphones.

Even though Apple dropped the headphone port from its devices, the demand for the port is high from old age customers who still use premium wired headphones for listening to music.

The Apple iPhone SE 2 will ship with a new processor, enhanced RAM and storage loaded with the latest version of iOS. The chances of infusing bezel-less display are less because the cost of the model will be below Rs 22000. Apple will manufacture the new phone as part of the Make in India initiative.
