The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has scored a record for the Highest Altitude ever reached by Motorcycle. The mission was accomplished by a team of six members who were part of the Quest for Highest campaign.

The “Quest for Highest” team took part in the challenge on four TVS Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycles to climb a total height of 21,524 feet in the Rupshu Valley in Ladakh. It’s interesting to note that the team has decided to take the difficult challenge in extreme climatic conditions.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycles are equipped with off-road tires to resist rough terrain. In addition to the Limca Book of records, the TVS Motor has taken an initiative to showcase to the world regarding the real power of the vehicle.

For the purpose of the ride, the mag wheels are changed to spoke wheels of 18 and 16-inch respectively at the front and rear. The suspension was also refreshed to manage the harsh terrain. It took one year for the Limca Book of records to approve the winner since the submission was made in December 2016.
