Xiaomi Mi Band 3

Xiaomi Mi Band 3 with Heart Rate Monitor Listed on Banggood [Exclusive]

Xiaomi Mi Band 3 with heart rate monitor has been listed on Chinese e-commerce retailer Banggood. We can see two listing with different price tags. While the first listing is tagged at $57.36, the second listing gets a price tag of $39.99.

The Banggood title states that the Mi Band 3 will be integrated with heart rate monitor and provides Bluetooth 4.2 support. The product page also features an image where a model is seen wearing the forthcoming Mi Band 3.

Mi Band 3The listing of Mi Band 3 on Banggood indicates imminent launch of the device. If you click Alert Me On arrival button, you will receive a notification when the stock arrives. The product will be initially available for pre-order around the second week of May.

Meanwhile, the company took to Twitter and revealed the teaser of the forthcoming Mi Band 3. The reports suggest that the Mi Band 3 will launch within the next few days after a series of the teaser.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 recently received Bluetooth certification in China. If a device passes through Bluetooth, then it indicates imminent launch of the gadget. Moreover, the wearable most probably doesn’t ship with a physical button to shuffle and toggle between different modes.

If Xiaomi ships Mi Band 3 without a physical button, then it indicates the fact that the device will include a full touch display including support for gesture control. Based on the previous leaks, the gesture controls work in such a way that you can simply slide up and down on the screen to switch between notifications.

If you swipe up, the display will be unlocked and you can just tap on the screen to navigate various options such as step count, sleep tracking, heart rate monitor and much more. On the display front, the Mi Band 3 will ship with an OLED full touchscreen.

The Mi Band series always deliver enhanced battery backup when compared to other competing devices. We are using Mi Band 2 and the battery backup is awesome with over 20 days of non-stop standby time. However, the sleep tracking measurements are not accurate. We don’t have any idea as to whether the addition of a color touchscreen will have any impact on the overall battery backup time.
