Indian Motorcycle has launched Indian Roadmaster Elite bike at a massive showroom price of Rs 48 lakh. Even though the motorcycle contains same engine and cycle parts, the company has priced Rs 10 lakh more than the standard variant. The main highlight of the Indian Roadmaster Elite is the addition of 23K Gold at the leaf badging on the tank and lowers. Moreover, the bike features custom-inspired two-tone candy paint coated manually by hand.
The 2018 variant of the Indian Roadmaster Elite includes LED lights alongside chrome detailing on the rear and the front fenders. The bike also includes a 300-watt audio system with support for USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
In addition to the cast aluminum frame, the Indian Roadmaster Elite is designed with an integrated Air-box, cruise control, keyless ignition.
The bike also includes leather seats, horizon power shield, remote locking saddlebags and trunk including tire pressure monitoring. The heated grips and adjustable passenger floorboards are also included.
Powered by a 1,811cc ‘Thunder-Stroke’ V-twin air-cooled engine, the Indian Roadmaster Elite is capable of delivering 161.6Nm of torque at 2,900rom. The bike offers a six-speed transmission and carries a weight of 628 kg. The telescopic and monoshock forks accompany rear and the front of the premium tour. The brakes are handled by dual 300mm discs on the front and a single 300mm disc at the rear.
According to company sources, only 300 units of the Indian Roadmaster Elite will be manufactured worldwide. The company has allocated two units of the Elite vehicle and they are sold out as of this writing.
