Fitbit has launched the Fitbit Versa smartwatch starting at Rs 19999 and will be available starting May 13 via both offline and online stores. The Fitbit Versa will be released in Black strap with Black case, Grey strap with a Silver case, and Peach strap with Rose Gold case color variants.
According to reports, the Fitbit Versa will be Amazon exclusive but will also be available via Reliance Digital, Croma retail stores. If you would like to buy a smartwatch with the NFC-based payment mechanism, you need to shell out Rs 21999. The watch comes with support for Fitbit Pay but none of the banks in India offer support for the payment system.
The Fitbit Versa is capable of delivering four-day battery life and will provide support for quick replies on Android. Moreover, the Versa watch is water resistant and can be used to track steps, sleep, calories including the number of floors climbed.
The watch can be used to store music and provides automated heart rate tracking. Fitbit also integrated a customized on-screen coaching mechanism via Fitbit Coach.
In addition to Fitbit Versa, the company also announced the launch of Fitbit Ace at Rs 7990 and will be available in Power Purple and Electric Blue color variants.
