Vodafone has announced that Vodafone SuperNet 4G service footprint has been expanded to over 600 towns in South Gujarat region. The company announced that Vodafone services are now available in over 2800 towns in Gujarat.
Vodafone has added 1000 new sites to provide Vodafone SuperNet connectivity to over 600 towns in South Gujarat region. The main of the company is to provide seamless connectivity to the data-savvy customer base.
Commenting on the development, Abhijit Kishore, Business Head – Gujarat, Vodafone India disclosed that the company is proud to announce that over 2800 towns in Gujarat are now covered by Vodafone SuperNet 4G service.
Gujarat is a strong growth market for Vodafone because of the tech-savvy customer base. Kishore disclosed that the rate of smartphone adoption and consumption of mobile data is perceptibly high and hence there is a need for superfast data speeds.
Vodafone has invested Rs 11,400 Crore on ramping up the network in South Gujarat region. The company has so far set up over 4500 additional sites across 2800 towns. Moreover, the company has upgraded all 3G sites to 4G.
To attract customers, Vodafone provides highly aggressive data products, attractive handset tie-ups including value-added utility apps such as Vodafone Play, My Vodafone App, and Vodafone M-pesa. The company has so far established over 650+ retail stores spread across prominent localities across the region.
To recall, Vodafone has expanded SuperNet 4G footprint to multiple districts of South Gujarat region such as Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Dang, Daman, Bharuch, Narmada, Tapi, Dadar, and Nagar Haveli.
