OnePlus is all set to release the next-generation OnePlus 6 globally at a launch event to be held in London at 5 PM BST aka 9.30 PM IST. If you are in India, the OnePlus 6 live event is being held on May 17 in Mumbai at 3 PM IST. The company has revealed that a Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition model of the handset will be available in India within the next few days.
According to reports, the OnePlus 6 will have an enhanced camera, improved design, glass back including a notch on the front. Moreover, the phone will be resistant to water and hence you can drop in water.
The OnePlus 6 is expected to ship with a 6.28-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage powered by a 3300mAh dash charging battery. The rear side will feature a dual camera comprising 20MP and 16MP sensors. On the front, the OnePlus 6 is equipped with a 16MP camera with improved features and filters.
The smartphone will be pre-loaded with Android Oreo but you can expect an update to Android by the end of December 2018. There will be a slight variation and the phone will likely offer 19:9 aspect ratio display, which is the new trend.
While the price of the 64GB storage model will cost Rs 36999, the 128GB variant of the OnePlus 6 will be available at Rs 39999 with sunning cashback and exchange offers. We can expect the launch of the 256GB model within the next few months and will cost above Rs 43000. OnePlus 6 will be available for sale on Amazon India on May 21. Alternatively, you can purchase the handset from OnePlus Experience and pop-up stores across India.
