Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite to launch as Galaxy S Light Luxury today

Samsung is scheduled to launch the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite. However, the reports suggest that handset will be available on the market under the moniker Galaxy S Light Luxury. Samsung has mentioned the new name on the official media invitations. Even though the device will arrive in India, we don’t have any official confirmation about its availability in India.

On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy S Light Luxury will be equipped with a 5.8-inch FHD+ (2220×1080, 18.5:9) Infinity Display, Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, 3000mAh battery loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo. The highlight of the smartphone is the integration of a Bixby button and a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

According to sources, Samsung has invited only 100 people for the press event to be held on May 21 at its Jingdong headquarters in Beijing. The invite specifically mentions Galaxy S Light Luxury.
