Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi Mijia Projector with support for HDR and Patchwall UI at CNY 3999. Touted to be the cheaper variant of the Mijia Projector, the new projector is capable of producing 800 ANSI lumens of brightness.
The Xiaomi Mijia Projector is equipped with 2.07 million reflective lenses and make use of a new light-path design. The main purpose of this new technology is to improve projection brightness by 5 percent. The focus will automatically adjust within three seconds using the integrated lenses. The projector comes with 45-degree keystone correction with a 0.47-inch DMD imaging chipset.
The lamp beads are supplied by Osram, which is capable of delivering 800 ANSI lumens of brightness paired with 500:1 contrast ratio. The addition of HDR10 is a big advantage for users who would like to stream next-generation videos.
On the entertainment front, the Xiaomi Mijia Projector provides a dual 10W stereo speakers powered by a dual-passive audio, Dolby Audio with DTS-HD technology. Moreover, it provides support for 1.1:1 projection ratio and makes use of Texas Instruments TRP square pixel architecture. The aim is to deliver accurate and clear results.
The Xiaomi Mijia Projector is equipped with a quad-core T968 processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB eMMC storage loaded with MIUI TV based on Android 6. The projector brings in PatchWall UI and voice-recognition functionality including support for all connectivity features.
