Vodafone has entered into a strategic partnership with Visa to rollout irresistible offers with the help of the newly launched Vodafone i-RoamFREE. As part of the deal, Vodafone post-paid customers who make use of their Visa Travel Prepaid Card will be eligible to get discounts of Rs. 500 to 700 on Vodafone i-RoamFREE packs with 10 days and 28 days validity.
Vodafone i-RoamFREE plan for 28 days mainly covers 65 countries with a value of Rs. 5000. If you make use of Visa Travel Prepaid Card, you only need to pay Rs. 4250. Hence, you will get a discount of Rs. 750. Meanwhile, the 10 days i-RoamFREE plan will cost Rs. 3500 but you only need to pay Rs. 3000 with an effective discount of Rs. 500.
Commenting on the partnership, Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director – Consumer Business, Vodafone India disclosed that the purpose of the Vodafone i-RoamFREE plan is to provide an unparalleled combination of not only exclusive benefits but also high-speed experience, worry-free roaming alongside excellent connectivity. The collaboration with Visa will strengthen the value proposition of Best Ever International Roaming plan.
Responding to media queries, Murali Nair, India Vice President, Visa added that the partnership with Vodafone will help customers to stay connected on the go. It also enables them to interact with their loved ones with seamless connectivity. The company sources revealed to us that the new plan will be extended to Vodafone prepaid customers within the next few days.
Vodafone i-RoamFREE plan provides Unlimited Data & calls in 20 countries like USA, Europe, UAE, UK, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand including unlimited free incoming calls and free data in 45 emerging countries.
